Q: What would I use the iFoldAway for?
A: The idea originated when we noticed
that people were starting to watch TV and video either streamed or downloaded onto
their phones. With the iFoldAway you can watch videos downloaded from itunes or even
watch the latest sky sports using the sky sports app. Use our tablet model to watch
films, surf the web, use in the kitchen or garage, at work or at home just to suggest
a few uses. If you find a new use, please email or twitter us!
Q: I have seen other devices that seem to do the same job. How is the iFoldAway different?
A:
The iFoldAway is truly portable unlike many of its competitors. You can fold it to
fit into a credit card wallet or just fit it into your coin pocket in your jeans.
Our tablet model can fit into your rear jeans or inside blazer pocket.
Q:How stable is iFoldAway?
A: As you can see in our graphic on the front page, you
can see that it can be used whilst charging and with headphones plugged in and still
retains a great stability. All you need is a fairly flat surface to place your iFoldAway
and it will do its job. Unlike other stands, it is so stable it can be used with
one hand!
Q: I am having difficulty working out how to use iFoldAway and I have lost my packaging.
A: Dont worry, iFoldAway is very simple to setup. Click here for our smartphone instruction

Q: Can iFoldAway be left open on my desk?
A: Yes! In fact iFoldAway holds it shape
extremely well over a long period of time.
Q: What if my iFoldAway gets bent?
A: Although
it may look like it wont work, within a few minutes of being placed folded in its
packaging or even by placing under a book, iFoldAway will go back to its normal state.
Q: What versions of the iPod touch and iPhone will the iFoldAway work with?
A: You'll
be happy to know that the iFoldAway works with all versions of the iPod touch and
iPhone as well as most smartphones.
Q: I see that it works with the iPhone. Will it work with other smartphones and the
latest iPhone 4?
A: Although initially designed for the iPhone, iFoldAway will work
with most phones of a similar form. Unlike other similar products, iFoldAway works
incredibly well with the iPhone 4. We are working on a compatibility chart due to
the huge number of new smartphones on the market now. The graphic on the front of
our site shows the latest handsets that have been tested .You can of course email

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, all orders are shipped from London, England
to anywhere in the world.
Q: Where is iFoldAway made?
A: iFoldAway is both designed and manufactured in England,
supporting local manufacturing companies.
Q: Will the iFoldAway work with a case?
A: iFoldAway works with most cases (see graphic
on website front page) as long as they fit reasonably snug or follow the contours
of the phone.We have tested it with most popular clip on and silicon cases. If you
have concerns, please email us and we can try to give you more information regarding
your exact model. Our tablet model has been tested with the official Apple case and
with all other major branded cases and it works perfectly. In fact you can use your
case to store your stand when on the move. Just fold it and slide it between the
tablet and case.
Q: How long does it take to ship my iFoldAway?
A: We try to get all orders out within
24 hours but occasionally this can take a little longer due to local postage problems.
Unfortunately we cant be responsible for Royal Mail.
Q: Can my child use iFoldAway?
A: Absolutely! In fact it really comes into its own
when your kids need a distraction -
Q: What packing materials are used to ship my iFoldAway?
A: You will be pleased to
know that iFoldAway, its packaging and the envelope we send it out in are all 100%
recyclable. We are also looking into using recycled materials in the production of
iFoldAway.
Q: Has it been tested on trains and airplanes?
A: iFoldAway is still a very new product
but it has already been tested on many different journeys offering great stability!
Q: Can I print custom designs on the iFoldAway?
A: Yes. If you would like to licence
iFoldAway for your own company or would just like to print a few with your own graphic
on please contact us on info@ifoldaway.com. Any amount over 40 can be considered
although the more we make, the cheaper they are, of course.
Q: How thick is the iFoldAway and how much does it weigh?
A: iFoldAway for the iPhone
is only ½ a millimetre thick, or 500 microns if you prefer. We chose the thinnest
material possible without compromising the structural integrity. It also weighs in
at 2.9 grams. The tablet version is a slightly thicker 800 microns as the increase
in size dictated a thicker material to ensure maximum strength.
Q: How durable is iFoldAway?
A: iFoldAway is extremely durable. While we aren't saying
you can't cut it in half with a nice pair of scissors, we are saying that you'd be
hard pressed to tear it in half with your hands. We have tested the folds and after
folding over 1000 times they still work. Oh, and of course it's waterproof in case
you were wondering that too. It will also melt if burnt but unlike most other products,
wont give off any harmful toxins to the air, just plain water vapour.
Q: Does the iFoldAway support the iPhone in its vertical, portrait view position?
A:
No, iFoldAway is intended to only be used in the landscape position which we find
optimal for viewing videos, apps, reading the news etc. We felt that , unlike other
competitors, instead of trying to do many jobs in an unsatisfactory fashion, we would
do one job very well.
Q: How about iFoldAway for the iPad?
A: Yes! As the tablet version is used almost
like a home computer to some, we adapted the design to work in both landscape and
portrait view without compromising on stability. We also included a recess for cable
management to assist both views.
Q: Can I order in bulk or wholesale?
A: Yes you can. iFoldAway come with a barcode
and a pop out eurotag for use in shop displays. Email us on info@ifoldaway.com for
bulk quotes.
Q: What if my iFoldAway breaks?
A: Hopefully this never happens but in the rare event
we will handle each broken iFoldAway on a case by case basis. In this event please
mail us back iFoldAway and if we determine it was a defect from manufacturing then
we will be more than happy to refund your product or mail you a new one. See terms
